Just when you thought
Rowan was one dimensional on offense, the Profs show more and
more balance in each succeeding game. RB Creg Bethea ran for 97
yards and 3 TD's on ten carries. QB Tony Racioppi threw for 275
yards and a TD on 25 of 41 attempts.
Bethea had 71 yards
and two TD's, while Racioppi ran one in from 1 yard out. Nick
Frade added a 35 yard field goal, set up by CB Kevin Evans interception.
Rowan led at halftime 24-0.
The Profs scored
the first 31 points before the Cougars scored on a 30 yard field
goal by David King. Kean scored its lone TD with less than a minute
left in the game, that made the final score 41-10.
Defensively the
Profs were lead by CB Kelvin Bellamy, who had 5 tackles, two interceptions,
and 4 pass breakups. Which led to two Rowan rushing TD's by Bethea.
WR Michael Osborne
led all wide-outs with 127 yards and 1 TD on 9 receptions.
K Nick Frade had
two field goals of 35 and 33 yards, and made 5 of 5 PAT's
