Gameday Week 11/02/02 - Game #9 Kean

Rowan Romps over Kean 41-10 Kean Game 8 Play WGLS-FM audio highlights By Tom Wilson Just when you thought Rowan was one dimensional on offense, the Profs show more and more balance in each succeeding game. RB Creg Bethea ran for 97 yards and 3 TD's on ten carries. QB Tony Racioppi threw for 275 yards and a TD on 25 of 41 attempts. Bethea had 71 yards and two TD's, while Racioppi ran one in from 1 yard out. Nick Frade added a 35 yard field goal, set up by CB Kevin Evans interception. Rowan led at halftime 24-0. The Profs scored the first 31 points before the Cougars scored on a 30 yard field goal by David King. Kean scored its lone TD with less than a minute left in the game, that made the final score 41-10. Defensively the Profs were lead by CB Kelvin Bellamy, who had 5 tackles, two interceptions, and 4 pass breakups. Which led to two Rowan rushing TD's by Bethea. WR Michael Osborne led all wide-outs with 127 yards and 1 TD on 9 receptions. K Nick Frade had two field goals of 35 and 33 yards, and made 5 of 5 PAT's The Profs host William Paterson at home this Saturday at 1 pm.
